Bettie is Back (in Black)

After a hiatus during the rainy season, Bettie is back running errands, commutes, and all around town. Speaking of Bettie, Todd updated his photostream with an experimental townie mount. Nice, as he said, “that’s a kinder, gentler, monkey.”
I need me a Bettie! I’ve got a large messenger bag, so trips to the store are limited to only a few staple items. I live a mile from the grocery store, and have to walk there more often than ride.
Have a look at the BicycleR Evolution Shopper (www.bikerev.com). It’s a nicely built trailer that attaches to your bike in 10 seconds or less. I’ve been using one for the last month for grocery runs and it works beautifully. I carried 5 bags of groceries (and a bouquet of flowers) from two different stores with no problem.
