For those that enjoy riding the Hawaiian Islands, Alaska Airlines announced today that they’re flying to Honolulu and Kauai. That’s great news, as is their introductory fares starting at $109.00.

One of Pam’s co-workers just booked a roundtrip in October for $300.
$217 round trip, actually - first week of December. catch is the flights are midweek.
Shouldn’t we all be discouraging cheap air-flights due to the impact of all that extra flying?!
Well they’re introductory rates and touring the islands with a bike is one way to offset the carbon of the trip. As I’ve posted about, Hawaii is as car-based as it gets with rentals.
