Just outside of the Chiswick neighborhood on a bike path, I spotted this old Pashley.

I have a pashley princess which was given to me by the original lady owner she had purchased it in 1980 from the bike shop where i worked(but before i worked there) until the shop closed as she knew i collected classic bikes as am a member of the veteran cycle club scottish section It needed a bit of work done to it maily the mudguards needed resprayed due to the bike being used in the winter which had caused the paint to lift once this was done and it was in fine fettle it joined my classic bike collection and has been used on club runs it has a deep lop frame similair to pre war ladies bikes and 28 inch wheels and is a pleasure to ride the only thing i need is the plastic connector which clips onto the toggle chain as i lost the spring clip which retains it onto the toggle other than this evrything is original even down to the wicker basket

I don’t think Cavendish will win the green jersey, let alone come in second. He’s proven to turn in his race number as soon as the course

It’s interesting that Team Type 1 had a pro in the race last year and lost. No pros this year and they win.
