- Blogging Beijing: Intel UMPC Prototype -- During our trip Beijing for the Intel Developer Forum, we met Mark Parker from Intel who showed us a UMPC Prototype. It's the Menlow platform, Silverthorn, and Poulsbo and booted up Windows XP. At the time, the prototype was one of two in the world and it's the first time it had been seen widely.
