I sometimes use Bag Balm when they are bad—I’m not sure how much it heps the healing, but it definitely seems to improve comfort along the way.
When I get sores I use Rawleigh Antiseptic Salve…works great!

prevention is the best medicine, so: lots of chamois butter, no matter how short the ride and ALWAYS a clean chamois.
but if you do get a sore: antibiotic cream after showering, then some Desitin overnight.
Tea tree oil applied sparingly.
