FSA Grand Prix at Marymoor Velodrome

The third running of the FSA Grand Prix drew cyclists from around the country to the pacific northwest. Over $14,000 in prize money was awarded, while cyclists battled to secure their spots at Elite Track Nationals. This was a special event, however regular season track races can still be seen at Marymoor on Friday nights through September 12th. You can check out more photos of the event after the jump.

Really nice photos! I made it over on Friday and got some myself. That was my first Friday at Marymoor, are the regular Friday races as popular and exciting, or was this one of the bigger events? I’d like to catch a few more this summer.

See track photos here.

Glad you liked the photos… It was fun being there, and participating in the event. I’m led to believe the event on Friday was the largest of the year. The Friday night events are smaller scale, but are fun to see live.

I raced this weekend and also took photos, check them out!

I’ve started getting into cycling photography but I have yet to make it to one of the Marymoore events, hopefully soon! Nice shots by the way…
