You’re welcome and thanks — it’s best to try and “not think about it so much” and worry less about your technique than “going fast.” If you get the hole shot and hold your position to the barriers, who cares if you texas two step? It’s a bike race, not a technique test.

Tim is right on with this one. I never realized this is how I hit the dismounts until he said ‘dance step.’ Count out the little dance step, up and over (or run up incline) then another dance step and into the pedals. 1, 2, 3 dismount. 1, 2, 3 click, click go the pedals.
