Taipei Mixer

mid_blogger.jpg The Taipei mix was in effect at an eclectic blogger party last night. Attendees included a local celebrity, conductor, bike maker, teachers, students, photogs, authors, and us. We talked blogs, social media, politics, and checked out Intel-powered MIDs prototypes that Pankaj Kedia, Director Global Ecosystems Programs, brought. We also gave out scwhag from Crumpler, Versus, and SXSW.

Thanks all for attending and sharing your Taipei stories. 1/2 way around the world, we found surprising examples of a degree-of separation; including connectons to Joi Ito, Colorado, and Sarah Palin.

Many thanks for organising the event and bringing such an interesting and diverse group of people together. It was also great to hear all the upbeat talk about the bike industry in the midst of the economic gloom.

You’re welcome. It was our pleasure. I think next time we should connect with the Bushman for an even bigger party. It was really remarkable how diverse that group was.

Byron et al,

Thanks so much for hosting this. It was great to meet up with you all. Much appreciated.

Thanks again. The mixer was a delightful event in a classy urban setting. It was great to meet everyone. I am enjoying my explorations of the Bikehugger blog and learning more about biking.

To all, ni hao!

Agreed Alton — we’re back in the States now. That party stands out as “good times.”

I don’t think Cavendish will win the green jersey, let alone come in second. He’s proven to turn in his race number as soon as the course

It’s interesting that Team Type 1 had a pro in the race last year and lost. No pros this year and they win.
