UPDATED - with some of your favs
The season for the Pro’s is underway. We’ve gotten a few comments asking about the news sources we use for following our favorites. There are a couple of the usual suspects:
Blogs:
but lately it’s been fun to follow the pros on Twitter as they tell you just how much spare time they really have:
- Lance Armstrong
- George Hincapie
- Dave Zabriskie
- Team Slipstream
- Ivan Basso
- FLandis
- Jani Brajkovic
- Bissell Cycling Team
- Tommy D
- King of Pants Racing
Got any others you’d like to share? I’ll update the post with the good ones.

Two of the best recent additions for following the US pro circuit are Lyne Lamoureux’s Podium In Sight and Briggs Heaney’s Euro Peloton.
Two well-established omissions from your list are PezCyclingNews and PodiumCafe, which is probably the single best community-powered racing site on the web.
Thanks for the mention Frank! I’m also on Twitter at @EuroPelotonBlog
I like Twitter as it allows me to quickly share cool links without having to write a long article about them.
Thanks again Frank!

This is going to be George’s year. He’s doing everything he can to be the best he can be. He’s motivated. He’s riding well. He’s Core training in addition to his riding. He’s working with people that are going to give him an edge. Look for great things from G this season!
Here are another few twitter feeds I have seen out there in twitterville.

Good to hear from you Steve — I heard that George skipped the Team Columbia training camp; does he got some stealth training going on?
I added it, but I just can’t do Pez. Their kit is hideous, the reporting is painfully dictated by who gives them free stuff, and they rant incessantly about Power Cranks. :)
Great list of links. I had never been to Euro Peloton before. It’s now it my favorites and on my RSS reader.
