Huggacast Episode Eleven: 2 Mile Challenge
Oct 21, 2007 · 01:29 PM · permalink
Bike Hugger met up with the Clif Bar folks at Interbike. They had a very busy booth and were showcasing the biodiesel 1959 GMC bus that was awaiting it’s maiden voyage on the 2 Mile Challenge. The 2MC is a cool event around educating the masses to the benefits (personal and for the planet) of urban cycling. It’s a simple challenge. A heap of stuff is within 2 miles of most of our homes, if we just take a few steps to bike instead of drive we will all be doing a world of good. The bus takes consumers through – what’s in your area and how to do it as well as outlining the best equipment to do it with. We loved it. The bus was cool, their aim positive and their products tasty.
