I wish I had before pictures. This is my dad’s 1972 Coppi frame that I just had sand blasted and re-painted at Seattle Powder Coat in Ballard. I started up on this project for a really dumb reason: I had an extra saddle. Then with some light googling, I came across bikedecals.com where I found an old Coppi decal kit.
So that’s where I’m at now. I’m going for a new-to-look-retro build with intent of using it as my sunny winter day cruiser. Velo Orange has a great site and parts and I’m starting there. More to come once I get it rolling.
