Marketed to climbers and hikers, I read about the PowerTrekk fuel cell charge in an AP News story and thought of dirt riders, tourers too.
The fuel cell inside PowerTrekk is a completely passive system. Without fans or pumps, the fuel cell silently converts hydrogen into electricity via its Proton Exchange Membrane.
The chemistry process is safe, controllable and eco-friendly, and the only bi-product from the fuel cell is a little water vapor. To operate, hydrogen must be supplied to the fuel cell, and the fuel cell must be exposed to the open air.
How it Works

I didn’t see dimensions on PowerTrekk’s site and it looks to big for a jersey pocket, but would attach to a tube or toss it into a pannier, saddlebag, or pack. Also learned that the fuel cell is distributed by Industrial Rev in Redmond, Wa. That’s an hour bike ride away from Hugga HQ. I already pinged them for a sample. Also asking about pricing.
