This is a screenshot from Recyclebank’s new mobile app, re:route, that encourages Londoners to walk and cycle more with exclusive offers. It’s gamified the bike commute with incentives and sharing. So you track your ride, then hit a threshold and get a reward for like 5 pounds off at Marks and Spencer.
Interesting approach and the marketing behind it is from Recyclebank. They’re based in NYC and I’d expect are working now on a similar scheme for New York’s just announced 41M bike share with 10K bikes and 600 stations.
