Sponsorship Packages
Bike Hugger brings cyclists of all types together with sponsors for an event we call the Mobile Social. To the attendees it’s a chance to connect with like-minded folks. To the sponsors, it’s a chance to make a customer for life.
At SXSW, the Mobile Social does its part to keep Austin weird. We'll ride around downtown arriving at Mellow Johnnys (the bicycle shop owned by Lance Armstrong) for a BBQ and Variety Show.
Before SXSW we're in Amsterdam for FITC and at the Seattle Bike Expo. Your sponsorship applies to all of our Spring events.

What is a Mobile Social?
The Mobile Socials are an intersection of bikes, technology, and culture. We ride, talk bikes, blog, party, and give away product. The event offers no douchebaggery or lameness, but is for like-minded cycling fans of all types to get together and talk about bikes.
Technically, it’s a social media marketing event targeting an enthusiastic niche audience with lifestyle branding, but it’s just not our style to talk big with those sorts of mumbo jumbo words. As Brian Oberkirch describe them, “it’s a coffee klatch on bikes, an excuse to get together” with your buddies and geek out.
Sponsors underwrite the event and provide the product and schwag we give away.
The history of the Mobile Social
In our 4th year, the Mobile Socials continue to get better with a two-fold increase in attendance. This year, there's a Variety Show at Mellow Johnnys. Like an epic Battle of the Bands, we’ll have local bike teams perform a skit, juggling act, breakdancing showdown, broadway number, maybe even a burlesque show for the crowd’s enjoyment. The coolest and best team wins bragging rights and sweet hook-up prizes.
