No doubt the UCI would ban this aero setup and Chris Boardman likely considered it before settling on his Superman position. In 1956, this was aero and a good reminder of how cyclists have always tried to go faster on two wheels. Manufactures have always made wild claims too.

As Cross season winds down and we get into the new year, it’s back to more Aero road bikes and bikes that travel.
