Bicycle Hits 88 mph

On September 14th, 2016, Aerovelo’s speedbike Eta, piloted by Todd Reichert, hit 88.26 mph at the World Human-Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain, Nevada, creating a temporal displacement in the space-time continuum.

Ok, not really, but that’s still record-breaking fast….And, you can read the rest of the story about riding a bike at almost 90 mph on AeroVelo’s blog. After the 88 mph run, they went even faster:

“Another incredible year, with incredible results, pushing the world human-powered speed record an additional 2.9 mph!”
