Bike Works is an essential service. Since 1996, they’ve worked to educate and empower youth and make bicycling accessible and affordable to the Seattle community. Based in Seattle, Bike Works builds sustainable communities by educating youth and promoting bicycling.
During the Stay Home, Stay Safe order, the state deemed bike shops an essential service. And, Bike Works is open. Their staff is working remotely and the shop is taking appointments for repairs.
Call the shop (206-725-8867) or email Josh to secure an appointment and leave a voice message for a callback if Josh doesn’t answer. To maintain social-distancing best practices, the shop asks that you come by only with an appointment for bike repair or to pick up a bike you’ve purchased online.
The online store sells an inventory of refurbished bicycles, accessories, gifts, and gift cards. The warehouse is closed, but you can purchase and pick up by appointment.
Finally, Bike Works is offering a 50% discount off bike repair (parts & labor) for medical personnel and grocery store employees. They recognize the front line work keeping us safe, healthy, and fed!
