Gorewear Endure for any weather. Thunderstorms last night reminded me about getting caught out riding in the mountains. And, how I have the gear from Gorewear that’ll handle any weather.
The Endure Jacket ($260) is versatile and perfect for any type of ride, and it even performs well off the bike. It includes a helmet-compatible hood and two front zippered pockets. The pockets are positioned higher for easy access when wearing a backpack or hip pack. Built with Gore-Tex technology, it’s guaranteed to keep you dry. The jacket is windproof, highly breathable, and quick-drying. It also packs into its own pocket, and features reflective elements along with cycling-specific designs like a longer back and pre-shaped elbows.
For bottoms, the Endure Gore-Tex Shorts ($180) are made with Gore-Tex Paclite Plus technology. The fabric features 2.5 layers of lightweight, durable, and highly breathable material. It is both waterproof and windproof. The shorts weigh just 4oz (compared to 6.8oz for the pants). They also include a reinforced seat panel for added durability and comfort.
The pants come with adjustable bottom hems, complete with snaps and Velcro loops to keep you dry and prevent your pant leg from getting caught in the drivetrain.
Underneath those, I’ll wear the endurance shorts.
