Kali Protectives Interceptor 2.0 launched earlier today. With product being so good these days, I can’t tell you one helmet brand is better than another. I can share what fits my head and is the most comfortable. That’s Kali Protectives.
That’s mostly because of the retention system they use v. MIPS or the like. Their rubberized grippers do the same job of keeping the helmet in place and don’t bind your skull. The new interceptor features a RHEON low density layer for addressing rotational and low G hits and Cassidian Nano Core for energy dissipation for major impacts.
The helmet vents feature an inner skeleton to maximize space and disperse energy across layers. The 2.0 update improves the visor that tended to lose its spot and TPR glass gripers will store your eyewear. Fit is always a focus for Kali and the straps adjust 3 ways, with a magnetic buckle, and optional bug netting with 2 sets of antimicrobial pads.
