Lezyne Super Pro: Full-Featured Computer

Ever since Lezyne launched their bike computers 5 years ago, I’ve been a fan. Now I have the Lezyne Super Pro and use it for head-clearing rides. Many of the trails in the Methow Valley are without cell service. Therefore a satellite mapper is essential. Especially, when riding for fun, to escape for a bit, not tethered to another complicated device.

The Lezyne Super Pro runs on a GPS/Glonass chipset. Also, it has an integrated barometer and accelerometer. And, it offers up to 28-hours of battery runtime. Paired to your phone, the Lezyne Ally app allows for custom routes with multiple points and you can easily upload them.

Retailing for $149 (on Amazon), the full-featured, mid-sized device offers a lot for the money. For instance, the bike computer will display phone calls and messages. The live track your route feature lets your family know where you are. Attention and focus are important to me when riding and what I’m looking at: the road ahead or down at my stats. The LCD screen is easy to ride even in the bright sun.

Features

As I was writing this post, Lezyne updated the device firmware to control their LED lights. Without a doubt, that’s another very smart feature from Lezyne.
