New Specialized Stumpjumper 15

New Specialized Stumpjumper 15

A new Stumpjumper 15 is here to eliminate every compromise in trail riding. According to Specialized, this Stumpjumper does it all. Want to tackle bumps like a big bike? Done. Need short-travel control, playfulness, and efficiency? You got it. And for the ultimate touch, the whip is personalizable. Given the diverse conditions in the Methow Valley, I’m really intrigued by what Specialized has to offer, especially the new Fox suspension system called Genie. Watch the video below.

  • Lightweight FACT 11m Carbon Chassis and Rear-End: A strong yet light frame that enhances performance on the trails.
  • Specialized Alloy Wheels: Durable wheels with sealed cartridge bearings for long-lasting reliability.
  • Ride Dynamics Tuned FOX FLOAT Performance: Featuring Specialized’s GENIE patent-pending air spring technology, this setup provides maximum grip and traction similar to a linear coil spring, while offering bottom-out prevention like a progressive air spring. Additionally, it allows independent tuning of mid-stroke and end-stroke support, with 2-position open and firm damper adjustments.
  • FOX FLOAT 36 Rhythm Fork with GRIP Damper: Designed to handle the roughest trails with ease.
  • SRAM Eagle T-Type AXS Drivetrain: Smooth, precise shifting to keep you in control.
  • SRAM Maven Bronze 4-Piston Brakes: Deliver powerful braking for confident descents.
  • X-Fusion Manic Dropper Post: A reliable dropper post you can trust on every ride.
  • Lifetime Replacement of Suspension Pivot Bearings: Guaranteed for the original owner, ensuring long-term durability.

There is a range of models for every budget. The Stumpjumper 15’s seamlessly integrated adjustability makes it a customizable trail bike. With six unique geometry settings, riders can fine-tune its performance for any style or terrain. The head angle can be adjusted between 63 and 65.5 degrees using a specialized eccentric upper headset cup. Additionally, you can raise or lower the bottom bracket height by 7mm by swapping the Horst link chips—drop it for more stability, or raise it for extra clearance.

Overall, this is a significant upgrade and feels like an entirely new bike.
