Pedalr: A Marketplace for People who Love Bikes
Pedalr sponsored the Mobile Social SXSW. They bought the beer and dogs at Frank and gave us all spoke cards.
I caught up with Billy, their evangelist, after SXSW and said, “Pedalr good for beer and dogs!” Now what exactly do they do? He replied:
- Pedalr is different from Craig’s list and ebay because it allows shops and manufacturers to test product in a passionate marketplace.
- It’s at the intersection of ecommerce and social media
- Pedalr is a learning machine for sellers, allowing them to do rapid product development based on user feedback
and the site has been live since June, 2010, with listings like this iPad 2 bag from Rickshaw and Cinelli Vigorelli. Pedalr also has a survey out, asking for input on what they do.
