Ripton’s Black Acid Jorts are what I’m pairing with the Ibex Wool Tencil tee for fall rides around Seattle. Now that the bridge is open, I’m way more likely to ride urban. Before that tens of thousands of cars were on the surface streets in my neighborhood. Once the rain returns and the temps drop, I’m switching to Gore Wear.
For now, it’s stretch denim jorts and a wool blend tee. The rowdy-ass skeleton heralds the arrival of Halloween, Bike Hugger’s fav holiday.
Ripton Jorts are made of four-way stretch. Sourced from the most technical denim factory in Europe, they are of the finest quality with a very comfortable, outdoor fit. I’ve also found the jorts are highly packable. They ship in two styles; hemmed or cut-off.
The limited edition Black Acid Wash Jorts with skeleton hand benefit from a wash system that produces a softer and more comfortable fabric. The women’s length is 2” longer than the previous model and both the men’s and the women’s styles retail for $69.
The other thing about Ripton, is they’ll custom tailor jorts. Say if you had monster track thighs.
