My friend Matt London has been traveling to China a lot recently for an amazing photography book he’s creating on the tea culture there. He’s also an avid cyclist and a fan of Bike Hugger.
On a recent trip he brought me one of the many bike-themed toys, which is now a cherished possession, but came across this photo while editing his archives recently that he’d meant to share with Bike Hugger while he was there. I love the nearly-copyright-violation nature of this toy. I also love that it was left by the kids who owned it in such a way as to look as if it’s running over child’s head.
